Terms of Sale

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Sale govern every purchase of a MultiProfile subscription. They are written for consumers buying from a seller established in France. Please read section 6 — it explains how you lose your right to withdraw, and how to keep it.

These policies are being finalised. Some publisher details are not yet published, and paid plans are not on sale until they are. In the meantime you can use the free version, and reach us any time at hello@multiprofile.app.

1. Seller

MultiProfile is sold by the publisher, a sole trader established in France. Full identity, registration number and contact details are on the Legal Notice page. In these terms, “we” means that seller and “you” means the customer.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. They are the only terms that apply: any other document, quote or statement is superseded unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. By placing an order you accept them, in the version published at that moment.

MultiProfile itself is free to download and use within the limits of the free tier. These terms concern paid plans only.

3. Plans and prices

We sell subscriptions to the MultiProfile desktop application for Windows. What each plan includes is described on our pricing page, which forms part of these terms.

  • Prices are displayed in euros or US dollars, inclusive of all taxes. The price shown at the moment you order is the price you pay for that billing period — it is firm, not an estimate.
  • Plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, as chosen at checkout.
  • We may change our prices at any time for future billing periods. A change never affects a period already paid for, and we tell you before it applies to you. If a new price does not suit you, you can cancel under section 7.
  • Promotional pricing applies only for the duration stated when you bought it.

4. Taxes

For customers in France: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI).

For customers elsewhere, any VAT or sales tax due in your country is already included in the price shown to you, and is stated on your invoice. You never pay more than the displayed figure.

5. Orders and payment

Before you confirm, you see a summary of your order — plan, billing period and total price — and you can correct any mistake or go back. The order is placed when you click the button confirming your order with an obligation to pay, and it binds you at that point.

Payment is by card, processed by our payment provider Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Your order is confirmed once payment is authorised and we have sent you a confirmation email carrying these terms on a durable medium.

We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, a chargeback history, a breach of these terms or of our Acceptable Use Policy, or where supplying you would breach applicable sanctions. If we do, we refund you in full.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have 14 days from the day your order is confirmed to withdraw, without giving a reason and without penalty (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

How you lose it — and why we ask

MultiProfile is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout, before paying, we ask you to tick a box that says two things: that you expressly ask for your plan to start straight away, inside the 14-day window, and that you expressly acknowledge that doing so means you lose your right of withdrawal once your plan is unlocked. That is what article L.221-28 13° requires, and unlocking is immediate.

Ticking that box is your choice, not a condition of sale. If you do not tick it, your plan starts once the 14 days have run, and you keep the right to withdraw throughout. If you tick it and then withdraw before your plan unlocks, you owe us a proportionate amount for what you have already used.

Nothing here removes the goodwill refund described in our Refund Policy, which we offer on top of the rights in this section and which is often the easier route.

How to withdraw

Tell us before the 14 days are up, by any unambiguous statement — an email to hello@multiprofile.app is enough. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We acknowledge receipt without delay and refund you in full, using the same payment method, within 14 days of being informed.

Model withdrawal form
(complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)

To [seller], [address], hello@multiprofile.app:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract of sale for the supply of the following service (*):
Ordered on (*) / received on (*):
Name of consumer(s):
Address of consumer(s):
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):
Date:
(*) Delete as appropriate.

7. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in force, until you cancel. For annual plans we email you a reminder before renewal, in the window set by article L.215-1 of the French Consumer Code, so the charge never arrives unannounced.

You can cancel at any time, directly from the billing portal in your account, in a few clicks and without having to write to us or justify yourself (article L.215-1-1). Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charge is taken.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

We owe you digital content that conforms to what we described. This is a legal guarantee (articles L.224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code), it costs you nothing, and it runs for the whole time we supply your subscription — not just at the moment of purchase.

If MultiProfile does not conform, you can require us to bring it into conformity. If we cannot, or do not do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract and be reimbursed. You do not have to prove the lack of conformity existed at delivery — the burden is on us.

This guarantee cannot be waived or limited, and nothing in these terms — including section 10 — reduces it. It applies independently of the commercial gesture in our Refund Policy. To rely on it, write to hello@multiprofile.app.

9. Licence

Once your subscription is paid, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use MultiProfile for the duration of that subscription, within the limits of your plan and subject to the Terms of Use. The software is licensed, not sold. The licence ends when the subscription ends.

10. Liability

We are liable for the proper performance of this contract under the conditions set by law. We are not liable for damage caused solely by you, by an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or by force majeure.

We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or under the legal guarantee in section 8. Where you are a consumer, no clause in these terms caps our liability below what French law allows.

What we cannot answer for is how a third-party platform treats your accounts. Whether a service permits multiple accounts, and what it does if it decides otherwise, is between you and that service — see section 4 of the Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Complaints and mediation

Please write to hello@multiprofile.app first — most problems end there. Consumers are entitled to free consumer mediation (article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code); the approved mediator this business is joining will be named here and on the Legal Notice page before any sale to consumers opens.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country’s law, and you may bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
